Production Technician

6 month contract to hire

Job Summary:
The Production Technician role is a hands-on position supporting basic fabrication, assembly, equipment repair, and general shop activities. This role is a good fit for someone with practical experience in grinding, welding, metal fabrication, landscaping, construction, automotive work, or building and rebuilding small engines. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools, and willing to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grind, clean, cut, and prepare metal parts and materials.
• Assist with basic welding, fabrication, fitting, and assembly work.
• Operate hand tools, grinders, drills, saws, and other power tools.
• Assemble and disassemble mechanical parts and equipment.
• Assist with repairing or rebuilding small engines and mechanical components.
• Measure materials and components using basic measuring tools.
• Perform general production, maintenance, and shop-related tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and equipment-operating guidelines
