Parts Inside Sales Associate

Clayton Services is searching for a Parts Inside Sales Associate to join a thriving company in North Houston. The Parts Inside Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers with parts needs, preparing quotes, processing orders, and maintaining accurate sales and inventory records.

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $26.00/hour
Benefits: Excellent benefits are available after the successful completion of the temporary period.

Parts Inside Sales Associate Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding parts, pricing, availability, and order status.
• Assist customers with identifying and ordering the appropriate parts for their needs.
• Prepare and send customer quotes in a timely manner.
• Process customer orders and maintain accurate sales documentation.
• Follow up on open quotes and orders to ensure customer needs are addressed.
• Utilize company systems to prepare quotes, process invoices, and track parts sales.
• Coordinate with internal team members to ensure orders are processed and fulfilled accurately.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels for parts and equipment.
• Assist with replenishing inventory based on business needs and product usage.
• Maintain organized records of customer orders, sales activity, and inventory transactions.
• Provide timely and professional customer service throughout the sales and order process.

Parts Inside Sales Associate Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to manage multiple customer requests, quotes, and orders simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working with pricing, part numbers, invoices, and inventory information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting and order-processing software is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and follow through on customer requests.

Parts Inside Sales Associate Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous inside sales, parts, customer service, inventory, or order-processing experience preferred.
• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, equipment, HVAC, or service-related environment is a plus.
• Previous experience working with technical or replacement parts is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
