About the Role:
Home Care Agency is looking for a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to join our growing team in Sterling Heights, MI. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, high-quality care right in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, and activities as needed
- Document and report any changes in client condition to supervisors promptly
Requirements:
- Previous experience in home care, caregiving, or a related healthcare setting preferred
- Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
