Loan Operations Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Loan Operations Analyst to support daily loan servicing and middle-office operations for a private credit portfolio. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with loan servicing, trade settlement, cash and position reconciliations, lifecycle events, and exception management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily loan servicing activities, including agent notices, rate resets, rollovers, drawdowns, paydowns, PIK, and interest/fee accruals.
• Support settlement of syndicated and private loan trades under LSTA/LMA documentation.
• Process cash activity, prepare wires, and investigate cash breaks.
• Reconcile positions and cash across internal systems, agent banks, custodians, and fund administrators.
• Process amendments and other loan lifecycle events and update systems accurately.
• Investigate and resolve operational exceptions and reconciliation breaks.
• Partner with offshore teams supporting reconciliation, cash, and trade operations.
• Perform reporting and data-quality checks.

Required Qualifications:

• 4–8 years of experience in loan operations, loan servicing, or middle-office operations.
• Strong understanding of syndicated and private loan lifecycles.
• Experience with agent notices and rate-setting mechanics.
• Knowledge of private credit structures, including revolvers and delayed draw facilities.
• Trade settlement experience under LSTA or LMA documentation.
• Strong reconciliation and break-resolution skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently within established procedures and controls.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with WSO, Allvue, eFront, or similar loan administration platforms.
• Exposure to IBOR/ABOR environments.
• Experience working with offshore delivery teams.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI tools in an operations environment.
