Shift:                2nd Shift | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM + OT
Work Arrangement: Onsite

Job Summary

Coordinate material flow, inventory, production schedules, and part availability across multiple factory departments. Ensure production teams have the required materials on time while resolving shortages and supporting continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the procurement, expediting, production, and delivery of materials across multiple departments.
• Ensure required parts are available to support uninterrupted production.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, material availability, and replenishment cycles.
• Identify and resolve the root causes of material shortages and inventory errors.
• Create and distribute daily production schedules using the Master Schedule.
• Process inbound/outbound material transactions and manage movement of rejected materials.
• Monitor critical shortage reports and expedite parts when necessary.
• Develop and improve material replenishment plans and inventory procedures.
• Coordinate daily department activities, priorities, and action items.
• Identify at-risk orders and support recovery plans to minimize production/customer impact.
• Track and report on-time delivery, backlog, aged orders, productivity, quality, safety, and service metrics.
• Coordinate communication between production employees and support teams.
• Support cross-functional activities, employee training, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain standard work instructions and department procedures.
• Support equipment/service requests and workforce planning as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with material planning, inventory control, production coordination, or supply chain operations.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across departments.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to track and analyze KPIs, inventory, delivery, and production data.
• Good organizational and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

• Factory/manufacturing environment.
• Works across multiple departments and closely with production, material handling, and support teams.
• May provide work direction to material handlers, stock chasers, or truckers.
• Overtime may be required.
