Responsibilities:

Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across various routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Drive a range of freight types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to deliver goods efficiently.

Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods, ensuring secure handling of freight.

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance standards.

Manage route driving responsibilities with a focus on punctuality and customer satisfaction while navigating diverse road conditions.

Requirements:

Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.

Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling.

Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and specialized equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks is preferred.

Experience with flatbeds is highly desirable.

Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently and safely using appropriate tools or equipment.

Familiarity with route driving strategies optimize delivery times while maintaining safety standards.

Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight transportation.
