Schedule: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off | 12-Hour Shift Rotation
Job Overview
We are currently hiring a reliable, self-motivated, and safety-focused Powder Coat Sprayer to join our manufacturing team in Savannah, GA.
In this role, you will be responsible for applying powder coating to manufactured products using electrostatic spray equipment, as well as assisting with loading and unloading components from the finishing line.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Schedule: 4-days-on / 4-days-off, 12-hour shift rotation.
Shift A
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Shift B
- Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform pre-coat quality inspections to ensure products are free of machine markings and properly prepared for coating.
- Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray equipment.
- Perform system and color changes as needed.
- Inspect coated parts for quality defects and perform mil thickness measurements and other quality checks.
- Assist with loading and unloading the powder coating production line.
- Monitor powder coating equipment and ensure machine readings remain within specified tolerances.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance to support safe and reliable operation.
- Receive, organize, and cycle count powder inventory.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Must be available for overtime when needed.
Requirements:
- Previous powder coating or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of powder coating line startup and shutdown procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Physically active and comfortable standing and moving throughout the workday.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Strong commitment to maintaining a safe and clean workplace.
- Steel-toed shoes required.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
