Histology Technician

Histology Technician Opportunities | 2nd & 3rd Shift

Join a state-of-the-art laboratory facility located less than an hour from Chicago! We're seeking both Certified and Non-Certified Histology Technicians who are looking for long-term career growth and advancement opportunities.

Open Shifts:

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday
• 3rd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM

Pay Rate:

• $34-$42/hour

What We're Looking For:

• Histology Technician experience preferred
• Dermatology experience highly preferred; GI experience will also be considered
• Minimum 1 year of histology experience preferred
• Associate's degree and completion of a NAACLS Histology Training Program required

Key Responsibilities:

• Tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, and slide preparation
• Specimen accessioning and preservation
• Quality control documentation and inventory management
• Microscope review and identification of abnormalities
• Equipment maintenance and compliance with laboratory standards
