Maintenance Technician

Reports to: Facilities and Logistics Manager

Summary: A manufacturer that is increasing production is looking for Maintenance Techs with 2 to 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be wanting to learn and already have a mechanical inclination.

Starting rate will depend on experience.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Assist with the maintenance of on-site equipment and building structure
• Troubleshooting on-site equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on the on-site equipment
• May be asked to perform activities with minimal supervision
• Activities could include but are not limited to electrical, plumbing or occasional janitorial work
• Must complete a daily log book for supervisor

Qualifications:

• Must have a knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Must be able to pass a general maintenance exam
• Must have PLC logic basic knowledge
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual English Spanish is a big plus
• Previous experience with 3 phase motors
• Previous PLC experience
• Swamp cooler experience
