Job Details:

• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Tuesday with alternating Wednesdays
• Weekend coverage includes Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• 24-hour orientation provided onsite
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Level II Trauma Center experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R, ARRT CT
• Perform CT exams across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department locations
• Cover outpatient CT patient load with capacity to support inpatient procedures and volumes
• Outpatient CT department completes over 1,000 exams per month, averaging 40 exams per weekday
• Position functions primarily in the emergency department
• Operate Siemens 64-slice CT scanner in ED and Toshiba 64-slice CT scanners in department and outpatient settings
• Work with 4 total CT scanners across 2 department rooms, 1 ED, and 1 outpatient imaging center
• Perform a wide range of CT procedures including 3D rendering, brain perfusion, vascular CTA, musculoskeletal trauma, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media and radiation safety
• Serve patient population spanning neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• May be required to float to like units within scope based on facility needs
• Locals within 75 miles not accepted
• First-time travelers accepted

Facility:

This is a Level 2 Trauma Hospital with a daily census of approximately 450 patients and around 150 visits per day. The facility operates a high-volume imaging department supported by four CT scanners and a robust interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more. The organization provides comprehensive care across a broad range of patient age groups and diagnoses.
