Rotor Dynamics Engineer – Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Rotor Dynamics Engineer with 10+ years of experience analyzing rotating systems such as jet engine fans, compressors, and turbines.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive aerospace rotor dynamics and mechanical design experience.
• Experience predicting critical speeds, creating Campbell diagrams/whirl speed maps, and analyzing imbalance forces, moments, and displacement.
• Proficiency in ANSYS APDL or Workbench and 1D Beam FEA techniques.
• Expertise in rotor dynamics and shafting structural analysis.
• Leadership experience in design reviews, risk assessments, project management, and mentoring engineering teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Systems engineering and cross-functional collaboration.
• PLM tools and aerospace certification processes.
• Aerospace materials, manufacturing, AS9100, and MIL-STD standards.
• Design for manufacturability, tolerance analysis, and mechanical testing.
