Architectural Project Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead multiple construction and design projects from planning through completion. This role manages internal teams, outside consultants, schedules, budgets, and quality standards while collaborating across departments to improve processes and develop new design initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple architectural and construction projects simultaneously.
• Lead internal teams, consultants, and remote project resources.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and workflow requirements.
• Review construction documents, lot-specific plans, and revisions.
• Read and apply applicable construction codes and standards.
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Architectural Operations, and other departments.
• Support new design options, technology initiatives, and process improvements.
• Identify project challenges and develop practical solutions.
• Assist with standards, procedures, and business analysis initiatives.
• Share best practices and help drive continuous improvement.
• Exercise independent judgment and make informed project decisions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, vocational/technical certification, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related architectural/construction experience.
• 2+ years of project or people management experience.
• Strong architectural and residential construction knowledge.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple projects.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Residential construction experience.
• Experience with SketchUp and BIM 360.
• Experience working with consultants and remote teams.
