FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an Electromechanical Assembler to support the assembly, testing, packaging, and material preparation of electromechanical systems and components in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role involves assembling electromechanical box builds, installing subassemblies and components, routing cables and wire harnesses, performing basic testing, preparing materials, cleaning components, and supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand tools, strong mechanical dexterity, good visual acuity, and the ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing basic electromechanical assembly using specialized hand tools and production equipment
• Assembling electromechanical box builds and systems
• Installing subassemblies and components into enclosures
• Routing and installing cabling and wire harnesses
• Verifying parts, components, and subassemblies are positioned and installed correctly
• Inspecting final assemblies to ensure workmanship and quality requirements are met
• Supporting basic functional testing of completed assemblies
• Operating welding equipment and leak testing equipment as trained
• Immediately notifying a supervisor of issues involving components, boards, subassemblies, processes, or testing
• Labeling completed assemblies
• Boxing and packaging finished products
• Stocking production bins and materials
• Cleaning components prior to assembly
• Preparing materials for production
• Moving materials throughout production areas as needed
• Supporting general production and assembly activities
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Following applicable production, quality, and safety procedures
• Performing other duties as assigned

The selected candidate will also possess:

• Electromechanical assembly experience preferred
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Experience using hand tools required
• Basic understanding of spoken English required
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and visual instructions required
• Ability to identify basic electronic components preferred
• Strong mechanical dexterity required
• Good hand-eye coordination required
• Good visual acuity required
• Ability to assemble components and subassemblies of various sizes
• Ability to work from documentation, sample products, and visual examples
• Strong attention to detail required
• Dependable and reliable work style required
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
• Ability to work in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Ability to work onsite in Vista, CA

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods while performing assembly and production tasks
• Ability to use hands and fingers for detailed assembly, hand tool use, component installation, wiring, packaging, and repetitive production work
• Ability to maintain strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor control
• Ability to visually inspect small components, assemblies, wiring, and finished products for accuracy and quality
• Ability to bend, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the workday
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials or finished assemblies as needed
• Ability to work around hand tools, production equipment, welding equipment, leak testing equipment, components, and manufacturing materials
• Ability to wear required PPE and follow all applicable manufacturing, production, quality, and safety procedures
• Ability to maintain accuracy, focus, and attention to detail while completing repetitive assembly tasks

Salary Range: $17 to $18/hour
