Electrical Repair technician role typically involves either an in-office Repair Electronic Technician who fixes devices on a bench or an Automotive/Service Technician who installs and services ignition interlock and alcohol monitoring devices in vehicles.
Repair Electronic Technician (In-Office)
- Core Duties:Position Summary: Supports the repair, setup, calibration, and testing of recording and control instruments to meet strict specifications under supervision.
- Perform bench-top repairs to return monitoring products to an operational state.
- Use tools like soldering and desoldering equipment for surface-mount components, and through hole.
- Test systems using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
- Read schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
- Pay is $18.00-$23.00 based on Experience
