FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Forklift Operator for a distribution facility in Cleveland, TN. Associates will perform all aspects of intake and outgoing orders in a fast-paced distribution facility.
Pay rate
$17.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
2nd Shift 2pm-10:30pm
3rd Shift 10pm-6:30am
Weekends and Overtime as Needed
Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift, pallet jack or other power equipment to transport goods and replenish lines
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring loads are secure, wrapped properly
- Pick orders using pick sheets or handheld scanners, building pallets
- Maintain accurate logs, inventory counts and data entries in the systems.
- maintaining warehouse organization
- Follow company safety procedures, warehouse guidelines, and productivity standards to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time
Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods, get on and off a forklift frequently
- Comfortable working in a fast paced and non-temperature controlled environment.
- Prior experience driving a forklift and using a pallet jack
