Welder

We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join a growing industrial manufacturing operation. This position is ideal for a skilled welder who takes pride in producing clean, precise welds and can work from blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications.

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, and/or aluminum
• Fabricate and weld industrial components, assemblies, piping, frames, and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, weld symbols, and specifications
• Fit, tack, and weld components to required dimensions and tolerances
• Prepare materials by grinding, cleaning, cutting, and beveling when required
• Inspect completed welds for quality, penetration, appearance, and dimensional accuracy
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, calipers, and gauges
• Operate grinders and other fabrication equipment safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all plant safety procedures and use required PPE
• Work independently while meeting production and quality requirements

• 2+ years of TIG welding experience preferred
• Previous welding or fabrication experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong TIG welding skills required
• Experience with stainless steel strongly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
• Ability to perform accurate fit-up and fabrication work
• Must be able to produce consistent, high-quality welds
• Ability to use common fabrication and measuring tools
• Must be dependable and able to work as part of a production team
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in an industrial environment throughout the shift
• Must be willing to complete a weld test

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Stainless steel fabrication
• Aluminum TIG welding
• Pipe or tube welding
• Sanitary/process piping
• Pressure vessels or tanks
• Food, pharmaceutical, chemical, pulp and paper, or other process manufacturing equipment
• MIG welding
• Industrial equipment fabrication
• AWS welding procedures/certifications
