Instructional Aide - Stillwater, OK

Embark on a rewarding full-time opportunity supporting a 6th-grade student as a dedicated paraprofessional! With a schedule of 35 hours per week, your commitment will extend from ASAP through May 2027, providing invaluable consistency and care throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting
• Demonstrated background working with students with autism
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

• Offer one-on-one support to a 6th-grade student with autism during class and school activities
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and work alongside educators to foster academic growth
• Support behavior management and provide positive reinforcement
• Assist with transitions between classes and daily routines
• Encourage socialization and facilitate peer interactions where appropriate
• Communicate progress and observations with educators and parents as needed
