Imaging Laboratory Technician

Pay Range: $24.72hr - $30.57hr

Candidate Profile:

The organization is looking for talented and result-oriented individuals to support the team through image / video capture, camera benchmarking, and field testing. The candidate will operate imaging laboratory equipment and cameras, collect objective performance indicators, and prepare test reports.

The ideal candidates should be self-motivated, passionate about cameras and image quality, and have a critical eye and attention to detail. The candidate should have effective communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly and work efficiently with team members of diversified backgrounds. This is an entry-level position; the successful candidate will be trained to correctly and efficiently perform job duties.

Responsibilities:

• Basic lab management, lab equipment bring-up and maintenance.
• Camera competitive analysis and benchmarking, field testing, image / video capture.
• Create demo scene setups, collect results, and prepare test reports.

SKILLS:

• Ability to follow instructions and product manuals, ability to work independently.
• General camera and lab equipment operating skills.
• Basic manual skills including toolmanship and equipment assembly.
• Basic photography / picture-taking skills, with attention to visual details.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• All necessary camera training will be provided.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or other relevant areas - high school diploma acceptable.
