Customer Service Specialist

Join our team as a Remote Customer Service Specialist processing routine and complex inquiries for group life, disability, and absence claims. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Handle claims inquiries and first notices of loss (FNOL) via phone and digital channels.

• Resolve customer issues, clarify facts, and escalate complex cases when necessary.

• Maintain accuracy and meet performance, quality, and phone metrics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

• 6+ months of customer service or contact center experience (insurance preferred).

• strong MS Office skills, data entry speed, and ability to navigate multiple systems.

Pay Rate

• Starting Rate: $18.00 / hour (Earning potential increases as training milestones are completed, up to $19.50 / hour prior to FTE conversion).

Schedule & Requirements

• Training Hours: M–F, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST (Mandatory attendance).

• Operating Hours: M–F, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST. Must have open availability for any 5x8 shift within these hours (no specific shift guaranteed).

• Location: 100% Remote. Mandatory overtime may be required during peak periods.
