Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and clinical assessments across assigned healthcare settings
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, applying critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and respiratory documentation
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management

Requirements:

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Texas (in good standing)
• Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care, long-term care, or similar setting preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS a plus
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and varying patient populations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and care teams
• Reliable, flexible, and available for PRN/per diem scheduling as needed
