Teacher of the Deaf or Special Education (Leave Replacement)

Work Schedule:      Temporary, full-time assignment beginning as soon as possible and ending on/around January-February 2027

General Job Description: 

Responsibilities include identifying the needs of students and setting learning goals to ensure each student's activities and lessons are planned according to their abilities.

Minimum Qualifications:    

• NY State Teacher of the Deaf or Special Education Certification.
• Experience working with special needs students, particularly deaf and hard of hearing students.
• Knowledge of ASL is preferred.
