Welder - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 26.00/hour - Gallatin, TN

• Our client, a U.S.-based manufacturing company, is seeking a Welder to join their team in Gallatin, TN. This position focuses on MIG welding and fabrication of steel components in a manufacturing environment, with regular use of blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding (GMAW) on steel components according to blueprint and fabrication drawing specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols to determine weld joints, dimensions, and sequence.
• Complete weld fit-up and verify measurements and component alignment prior to welding.
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for conformance with drawings, measurements, and quality requirements.
• Perform production welding and metal fabrication work within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with MIG welding (GMAW).
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting fabrication or technical drawings.
• Experience interpreting weld symbols and dimensional specifications.
• Experience welding and fabricating steel components.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 18.00 - 26.00/hour range
• 401k: 100% match up to 6% of salary (after 1 year).
