Positional Overview
The Imagine Group is recruiting for a Supply Chain Analyst on behalf of our client, a growing specialty coffee and tea organization focused on building direct relationships between farmers, customers and communities. The company sources internationally and manages products across the full supply chain, from origin sourcing and manufacturing through distribution to both business-to-business and direct-to-consumer customers.
In this role you will support the day-to-day supply chain operation, overseeing inventory flow from raw materials through finished goods while coordinating with manufacturers, co-packers, third-party logistics partners and internal teams. This is a highly visible position within a growing organization where you will work closely with operations leadership, have exposure to the full supply chain and have the opportunity to grow into a management-level role.
Role & Responsibility:
Tasks That Will Lead to Your Success
- Own day-to-day supply chain operations, including inventory flow from raw materials through finished goods across warehouse, co-manufacturing, co-packing and third-party logistics partners.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for key manufacturing, co-packing, logistics and supply chain partners.
- Manage relationships with external partners and serve as a point of escalation when issues need to be resolved.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain and Logistics Leader to monitor raw material and finished goods inventory across internal and third-party facilities.
- Support demand planning and inventory management across both business-to-business and direct-to-consumer channels.
- Monitor supplier lead times and open purchase orders to support on-time delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
- Execute purchasing, product transfers and co-manufacturing transactions within the inventory management system.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete daily, weekly and ad hoc inventory reporting.
- Track and analyze supply chain performance metrics including on-time delivery, on-time in-full performance and backorders.
- Collaborate with Operations and Finance on month-end close activities and inventory-related reporting.
- Perform root cause analysis and support corrective action reporting when supply chain issues arise.
- Support the identification, evaluation and onboarding of new suppliers and external partners.
- Assist with quarterly S&OP and broader inventory planning initiatives.
- Support the selection and implementation of a new enterprise resource planning system alongside Operations, Finance and other internal stakeholders.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team on physical inventory counts and cycle count activities.
- Review data from inventory management and accounting systems to maintain accurate purchasing, shipping and inventory records.
- Provide recommendations to leadership and contribute to operational strategy as the organization continues to grow.
Skills & Experience
Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive
- Two (2) to three (3) or more years of experience in supply chain, logistics or operations, or a recent graduate with directly relevant internship or early-career experience.
- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning and inventory management systems.
- Experience working with inventory data, purchasing, logistics or supply chain operations.
- Strategic thinker who understands how goods move through a supply chain and can work independently without close supervision.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory and operational records.
- Comfortable working across multiple teams and communicating with external suppliers, manufacturers and logistics partners.
Education & Experience Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, business, logistics or a related discipline.
- Food or beverage industry experience.
- General manufacturing experience.
- Experience with importing and exporting, particularly within an international supply chain.
- Familiarity with both business-to-business and direct-to-consumer inventory flows.
- Quick service restaurant or food service experience.
- Experience with Cin7 or similar inventory management/ERP systems.
- Experience supporting an ERP selection or implementation project.
- Ability to demonstrate curiosity, ownership and initiative with a willingness to identify what needs to be done and take action without waiting for direction.
