Shift Manager Job

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, with experience in fine dining, quick service fast food restaurants, or catering environments. As a Shift Manager, you will lead a team to ensure exceptional customer service, maintain operational standards, and foster a positive work atmosphere.

This Job requires 12 days training at our training restaurants in Wichita, KS. All travel, lodging and training time will be Paid.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during shifts to ensure efficient operations.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and promote career growth.
• Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Utilize POS systems effectively for transactions and reporting.
• Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency.
• Assist with scheduling staff shifts to meet business demands.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory role within the food service industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with fine dining, quick service fast food restaurants, bars, or catering services is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with customers and staff.
• Knowledge of POS systems and operational procedures in food service settings.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• A passion for delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
