About Us & The Position

We are a well-established, family-owned and operated retail business in Fairfield looking for an outgoing, motivated, and dependable Part-Time Retail Sales Manager to join our team, with the potential to grow into a full-time position for the right person.

We have a fun, supportive work environment and are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with customers, is confident in their sales abilities, and is comfortable taking on leadership responsibility.

This is a hands-on position for someone who leads by example, takes initiative, communicates well, and takes pride in getting things done. You'll work closely with our management team to drive sales, provide exceptional customer service, support and motivate employees, and help keep day-to-day store operations running smoothly.

Our ideal candidate is a strong salesperson who can build relationships with customers while also keeping an eye on the sales floor and the needs of the team. You should be able to recognize what needs attention, use good judgment, and take action without always waiting for direction.

For someone who excels in the role, demonstrates strong leadership, and wants to take on additional responsibility, there may be an opportunity to transition into a full-time position.


What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional, personalized customer service and create a great shopping experience
• Drive sales and help the team achieve store goals
• Build relationships with customers and help develop repeat business
• Lead by example and set a high standard for sales, customer service, professionalism, and productivity
• Help lead, support, and motivate the sales team
• Take initiative and follow through on responsibilities without requiring constant direction
• Manage time effectively, prioritize responsibilities, and bring a strong sense of urgency and a "get-it-done" attitude
• Assist with training and developing sales associates
• Help maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing sales floor
• Assist with inventory, receiving shipments, stocking merchandise, and merchandising new product
• Balance customer-facing responsibilities with the operational needs of the store

What We're Looking For

• Retail sales experience preferred; retail leadership, supervisory, or keyholder experience strongly preferred
• A proven ability to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service
• An outgoing, professional personality with strong people skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and work effectively with others
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, and organized
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and follow through
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on retail environment
• Weekend availability is required
• Interest in growing with our business and taking on additional responsibility is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule & Availability

This is initially a part-time position with sales and leadership responsibilities. We are looking for someone who can provide dependable, consistent availability and become a reliable part of our team.

• Must be able to work a consistent part-time schedule
• Weekend availability is required
• Flexibility to provide additional coverage when needed is a plus
• Reliable and punctual attendance is essential
• Additional hours and the potential for a full-time schedule may become available based on performance and the needs of the business
