Bell's Music Shop, Inc. is looking for a friendly, dependable Full-Time Retail Associate to join our team.

Our retail associates work directly with students, parents, music educators, and musicians, helping customers with instrument rentals, accessories, supplies, purchases, and everyday questions.

You don't need to be a professional musician or have music-store experience. We're looking for someone who is comfortable working with people, willing to learn, and able to provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service.

Previous band or orchestra experience is preferred—even if it was years ago! Familiarity with common band and orchestra instruments and accessories is helpful and makes it easier to assist our customers.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service

• Assist families with band and orchestra instrument rentals

• Help customers find instruments, accessories, method books, reeds, strings, oils, cleaning supplies, and other music products

• Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and payments

• Answer phones and assist with customer questions

• Look up customer and rental account information

• Help receive, tag, price, and stock merchandise

• Keep retail displays organized and stocked

• Assist with general store organization and cleanliness

• Learn our products, rental program, and store procedures

• Work with other team members to make sure customers are taken care of

• Band or orchestra experience is preferred but not required

If you played an instrument in middle school, high school, college, or beyond, we'd love to hear about it. You don't have to be an expert—having some familiarity with the band and orchestra world is a plus.
