We’re seeking a motivated leader to facilitate after-school programming that includes enrichment activities, academic support, and social-emotional learning. The ideal candidate brings strong behavior management skills and a spirit of collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children (grades K–5) in structured and unstructured activities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate enrichment activities (e.g., arts, games, literacy)

• Foster a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants

• Support academic homework time and provide guidance as needed

• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and volunteers

• Build strong relationships with students, families and staff

• Ensure safety and behavior management strategies are followed

• Track attendance and participate in program evaluations

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational and/or community settings

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Passion for empowering youth and promoting healthy lifestyles

• Bachelor's degree in education, human/social services or related field or related experience

• 1-2 years of experience working in youth development or operating after school or summer youth programs

• 1-2 years of experience in group facilitation

• Background checks (PA Child Line, PA Criminal Record Check or FBI Clearance)

Compensation & Hours

• Part-time: 8 - 10 hours.

• Hourly Rate: up to $18 per hour based on experience.

• Monday through Thursday | 3:45 – 6:15 pm
