Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Setting: School-Based Healthcare | Grades K-12
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant (English/Spanish) to provide clinical and administrative support in a school-based healthcare setting serving K-12 students. This is an excellent opportunity for a Certified Medical Assistant who enjoys working with children and adolescents and is looking for a consistent weekday schedule with long-term career potential.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent employment and a comprehensive benefits package upon hire.
Training Information
To ensure a successful onboarding experience, selected candidates will participate in a structured training program conducted in Ossining, NY approximately twice per week for the first 2-3 months of employment.
Travel reimbursement is provided for approved training-related travel expenses.
Candidates residing in Brewster, Pawling, Carmel, Hopewell Junction, Fishkill, Wappingers Falls, Millbrook, and surrounding Dutchess and Putnam County communities are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
- Support healthcare providers with student examinations, treatments, and routine clinical procedures.
- Record vital signs, patient histories, and screening results, including vision and hearing screenings.
- Perform and document basic laboratory testing, EKGs, spirometry, and other procedures within training and scope of practice.
- Collect and process specimens while maintaining accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
- Assist with student registration, scheduling, check-in, and check-out processes.
- Provide bilingual English/Spanish communication support for students and families.
- Maintain clean, organized examination rooms and assist with inventory and supply management.
- Follow all patient privacy, confidentiality, and safety protocols.
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills required.
- High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
- Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Pediatric, adolescent, family practice, community health, or school-based healthcare experience preferred.
