Quality Assurance Associate II

Location:San Diego, CA 92121
Pay: $22–$24/hr Contract / Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: 2:30 PM–1:00 AM, Monday–Thursday

Manpower is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Associate II to join a medical device manufacturing team in San Diego. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing, GMP, inspections, and quality documentation.

• Perform in-process and final product inspections.
• Review and approve DHRs, test reports, manufacturing records, and quality documentation.
• Support lot release and final product approval.
• Identify and report quality issues, abnormalities, and discrepancies.
• Assist with non-conformance investigations and resolutions.
• Provide quality oversight of manufacturing and final packaging.
• Review calibration and preventive maintenance records.
• Assist with incoming inspections and quality audits.
• Maintain quality spreadsheets, records, and documentation.
• Support updates to SOPs, work instructions, DHRs, and process documentation.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance and/or manufacturing experiencein an FDA-regulated environment.
• Medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with GMP, QSR/QMS requirements, and QC testing.
• Hands-on experience with lot release, DHR review, and in-process inspection.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Schedule & Physical Requirements

• Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–1:00 AM
• Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and wearing required PPE.
• Position may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, repetitive hand movements, and close visual inspection.
• May occasionally lift or move up to 45 lbs.
