Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Illinois
• Strong foundation in school-based, healthcare, or pediatric physical therapy
• Prior experience within a high school or educational setting highly valued
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEP goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
• Assess, document, and monitor progress toward therapy goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to support students’ functional and educational needs
• Develop targeted intervention plans, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and provide insights for student success
• Educate staff and families on strategies to promote mobility and motor skills in school environments
