Machine Technician

We're seeking a hands-on Machine Technician to support automated production lines in a clean, climate-controlled cosmetic manufacturing facility. This role combines machine operation, troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement, making it an excellent pathway into maintenance and advanced manufacturing careers.

• Operate and monitor automated production, filling, and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and escalate complex repairs to maintenance.
• Perform equipment checks, changeovers, and machine setups.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize waste.
• Support quality, safety, cGMP compliance, and 5S initiatives.
• Train and assist operators on equipment operation and best practices.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to meet performance goals.

• 3+ years of machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with automated production equipment and changeovers.
• Ability to diagnose issues, problem-solve, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Manufacturing, automotive, military, or similar technical experience highly valued.
• Familiarity with cGMP, 5S, SPC, or continuous improvement practices is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oxford, NC.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
