Job Title: Traveling General Laborer

Location: Southern Minnesota (travel to various job sites required, in state and out of state)

Schedule: Full-Time

Pay: Starting at $19+/hour, based on experience

• $5/hour weekend bonus

We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Traveling General Laborers. In this role, you will assist with the preparation, coating, and finishing of industrial concrete flooring systems at construction and industrial job sites throughout Southern Minnesota.

No prior experience is required. We provide hands-on training for coating applications, equipment operation, and safety procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in construction while learning a specialized trade.

• Prepare concrete floors by cleaning, grinding, patching, and repairing surfaces
• Mix epoxy, urethane, and specialty coatings according to manufacturer specifications
• Apply coatings using rollers, squeegees, and other application equipment
• Operate grinders, mixers, rollers, and other job-related tools safely and efficiently
• Monitor coating applications and perform touch-ups as needed to ensure quality results
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures at all times
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet project timelines
• Travel to job sites throughout Southern Minnesota and across the country
• Lift, move, and handle materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or quality concerns promptly

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Construction, general labor, or industrial experience is helpful but not required
• Willingness to learn specialized coating and flooring techniques
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites throughout Southern Minnesota
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions

This position is field-based and involves working at active construction sites and industrial facilities throughout Southern Minnesota. Employees regularly work around concrete surfaces and use equipment such as grinders, mixers, and coating tools. The role requires physical labor, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Work may occasionally include weekend hours depending on project schedules.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waseca, MN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $34.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
