Full-time School Nurse (RN) needed near Easton, MD

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking aRegistered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 nursing care for a medically fragile student in a middle school setting in Easton, Maryland. This is a full-time school-based opportunity for the current school year through June 2027.

Position Details

• Location: Easton, MD
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: June 16, 2027
• Hours: 35–37 hours per week
• Setting: Middle School
• Position: 1:1 School Nurse
• Student Needs: Medically fragile student requiring G-tube and tracheostomy care
• Support: Work alongside a second nurse who will also provide support to the student

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day
• Monitor the student's medical status and respond to healthcare needs
• Provide G-tube and tracheostomy care as needed
• Administer medications and treatments according to the student's care plan
• Collaborate with school staff, the student's healthcare team, and the second nurse
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation
• Ensure the student's safety and ability to participate in the school environment

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license required
• Previous experience with medically fragile students preferred
• Experience with G-tube and tracheostomy care preferred
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a school-based environment
