Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience (or strong interest) in both classroom instruction and case management
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IEPs
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide special education instruction tailored to students’ individual needs
  • Serve as a case manager, supporting and advocating for students throughout the school year
  • Develop, review, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to meet students’ goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant state and federal guidelines
