Special Education Teacher - Middletown, Delaware

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Delaware Special Education Teacher licensure (DE SPED)
• Experience working within K-12 settings is highly valued
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver tailored instructional plans that address each student’s unique needs
• Monitor academic and behavioral progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
• Work closely with general education staff, parents, specialists, and administrators
• Ensure compliance with IDEA, state regulations, and school policies
• Maintain accurate documentation related to student progress and assessments
