Exciting opportunities are available for passionate Special Education Teachers in the New Windsor area, dedicated to supporting students’ growth and success in a supportive, specialized environment. These are full-time onsite contract roles within dynamic self-contained classrooms, serving students placed according to their individual education plans, academic levels, and behavioral support requirements. Classrooms are thoughtfully staffed, each with a lead teacher and a team of three support professionals, ensuring personalized attention and collaborative instruction.

Available Positions:

• Kindergarten/Elementary Special Education Teacher (Grades 1–3 focus)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM
• Preschool Special Education Teacher (SFP Program)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification in New York (Early Childhood, Grades K–12, or relevant area)
• Experience in self-contained special education settings preferred
• Understanding of IEPs and adapting instruction to individualized goals
• Strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with support staff and related service providers
• Ability to address behavioral needs and implement support plans when required
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and growth-oriented classroom environment
