Desired Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Proven experience in pediatric, school, or comparable nursing settings
• Direct experience with G-tube and tracheostomy care
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and school staff
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive 1:1 nursing services during school hours to a middle school student
• Monitor and assess medical needs; provide daily G-tube feedings and tracheostomy care
• Administer prescribed medications and manage ongoing health management as directed by student’s care plan
• Document care and observations according to state and school policies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the student’s educational and health needs
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource and liaison among student, family, and school community
