Join a leading precision metal fabrication facility - seeking a skilled Welder to join our Fond du lac client’s production team. They specialize in custom industrial component fabrication, serving top-tier clients with high-quality MIG and TIG assemblies in a clean, modern shop environment.

Position –Welder

Job Location –Fond du lac, WI

Starting Date –ASAP

Employment Term –Temp to hire

Employment Type –Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift

Starting Pay –$19 to $24

Required Experience –At least 2 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Perform precise MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welds on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols to plan layout and weld sequences.
• Fit, align, tack, and clamp sub-assemblies to strict dimensional tolerances prior to final welding.
• Inspect completed welds for proper penetration, bead quality, and structural integrity using calipers and weld gauges.
• Maintain welding equipment, replace consumables, and adhere to all shop safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on MIG and TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or job-shop environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong blueprint reading skills and proficiency with standard measuring tools and metal preparation equipment.
• Weld Test: Must be able to pass a practical hands-on weld test during the interview process.
