Transportation Coordinator

Position Summary

Arranges and monitors roundtrip transportation for claimants attending consultative examinations, ensuring reliable pickup and return service.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange roundtrip transportation for claimants from their residence or another mutually agreed-upon location within the District to the examination site.
• Confirm return transportation to the original pickup location following the appointment.
• Notify the District of any transportation issues (delays, no-shows, cancellations) within 30 minutes of the issue arising.
• Coordinate with transportation vendors/drivers to confirm daily pickup schedules align with the appointment calendar.
• Maintain records of transportation provided for billing and compliance reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) or paratransit services preferred.
• Strong logistics and vendor coordination skills.
