Pizza Prep Cook

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Pizza Prep Cook to join our team at our Italian carryout restaurant. This position is responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting with the daily production of our pizzas and Italian food.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and portion ingredients
• Prep vegetables, meats, cheeses, sauces, and other food items
• Assemble pizzas and other menu items according to recipes and portion standards
• Assist pizza cooks and kitchen staff during busy periods
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Properly store and label prepared ingredients
• Wash dishes and perform general kitchen cleaning as needed
• Help with opening and closing kitchen duties
• Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant or food-preparation experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
• Reliable and dependable
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Schedule:
Part-time and full-time positions available. Evening and weekend availability is a plus.
