Hydro Tester- Weekends; Friday-Sunday

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with high pressure water to test vessels
• Inspect for leaks
• Ensure pressure readings are accurate
• Ensure health and safety are the number one goal by following all policies, processes and acting safely at all times.
• Basic knowledge and ability to operate high-pressured water-blaster and vacuum equipment.
• Ensures proper use of the equipment and immediately notify supervisor of any mechanical failure or problem of equipment.
• Wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE.) This includes but is not limited to respirators, skin, face, hand, and foot protection in multiple number combinations.
• May periodically use computers for training purposes.
• Performs work in enclosed confined spaces.
• Performs work using high pressure water blasting equipment to test pressure vessels.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Exposed to weather, including extreme temperatures.
• Required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders to heights of up to 20 feet.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
• Ability to wear a respirator.
• Ability to work long hours,
• 6+ months of hydro blasting or related experience preferred.
• Basic Plus preferred.
