POSITION: Litigation Attorney (National Law Firm)

LOCATION: Garden City, NY (Hybrid)

COMPENSATION: Base salary up to $190k, bonus eligibility, comprehensive benefits, and 401(k).

The ideal candidate will have strong writing and communication skills, a commitment to client service, and the ability to effectively manage complex litigation matters.

Responsibilities for Litigation Attorney:

• Manage a broad range of litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft, prepare, and review pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and analysis and apply findings to support litigation strategy and case development
• Develop and implement litigation strategies in collaboration with attorneys and clients
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties throughout the litigation process
• Monitor case deadlines, manage multiple matters, and ensure timely completion of litigation-related tasks
• Participate in negotiations, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings

Qualifications for Litigation Attorney:

• J.D. from an accredited law school required
• Admission to the New York Bar required; New Jersey and/or Connecticut Bar a plus
• 6+ years of litigation experience; Healthcare litigation experience is a plus
• Strong legal writing and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
