Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Comfortable Climate Heating, Air & Plumbing is adding an experienced Residential HVAC Installation Technician to our growing team.

We're looking for someone who understands that a quality installation is about more than getting the equipment running. Proper workmanship, attention to detail, protecting the customer's home, and completing the job correctly the first time all matter.

Your Responsibilities

You'll handle residential HVAC installation projects throughout Hampton Roads, Williamsburg, and the Middle Peninsula.

• Install residential furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, condensers, and controls
• Complete new equipment replacements and related HVAC installation work
• Install, modify, and connect ductwork and sheet metal
• Install copper line sets and perform brazing and soldering
• Complete electrical and low-voltage connections as required
• Follow manufacturer installation requirements and applicable building codes
• Test equipment and verify systems are properly installed and ready for startup
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites
• Protect floors, walls, furniture, and other areas of customers' homes
• Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout each project
• Complete required installation paperwork and job documentation
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment, and materials

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
• EPA Certification
• Strong hands-on experience with residential heating and cooling equipment
• Experience with ductwork and sheet metal
• Proficiency with brazing, soldering, and copper line sets
• Understanding of residential HVAC installation practices and codes
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, garages, and outdoors
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Professional communication and customer service skills

Additional certifications such as NATE or OSHA training are a plus, but not required.
