Retail Associate (Cashier & Stocking - Beer Distributor)

Job Summary:
Love craft beer and working with people? We’re looking for a dependable, customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team. This hybrid role blends cashier duties with stocking and merchandising, perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping shelves full and customers happy. Key Responsibilities:

·         Ring up purchases accurately and efficiently at the register

·         Create a welcoming, helpful experience for every customer

·         Check IDs and follow all alcohol sales regulations

·         Keep shelves, coolers, and displays fully stocked and looking great

·         Rotate product and keep an eye on freshness and quality

·         Help unload deliveries and organize back stock

·         Keep the store clean, organized, and running smoothly

·         Stay aware of inventory levels and communicate restocking needs

·         Assist with and run beer tastings, including setup, customer engagement, and cleanup

·         Share basic product knowledge and recommendations during tastings

·         Work as part of a team to keep things moving during busy hours

Qualifications:

·         High school diploma or equivalent preferred

·         Retail or cashier experience is a plus (but not required)

·         Ability to lift and carry 30–50 lbs regularly

·         Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills

·         Friendly attitude and good communication skills

·         Comfortable handling cash and basic transactions

·         Must be at least 21+ years old

·         Interest in craft beer is a big plus

Working Conditions:

·         On your feet for most of your shift
