Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and 2+ years of CT experience for a 6-month day shift assignment.
Details
- Adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and ICU settings
- Level I and Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
- Performs abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies with and without contrast
- Special procedures may include coronary CTA, vascular CTA, CT arthrography, and brain perfusion
- Utilizes Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR
- Image display and post-processing skills including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
- 5x8 hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Weekend rotation required
- May be subject to floating between facilities within the health system if requested by the unit
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certification required
- IEMA accreditation required
- BLS certification through AHA required
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program
- BSN required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Illinois license required if applicable, in hand at time of consideration - emergency or pending licenses not accepted
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture required
- Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
Additional Information
- Responsible for isolation precautions/PPE compliance and radiation safety protocols
- Prior travel experience required
- Accepts local candidates within a 75-mile radius at a local rate
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot be added afterward
- Vaccination status must be included at time of consideration
