Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I trauma emergency department, requiring at least 1 year of CT experience with Siemens equipment and Epic charting.
Details
- Level I Trauma, Stroke Accredited facility with a diverse patient population
- Works in Emergency Department, Inpatient, Operating Room, and Adult ICU settings
- Performs CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, and musculoskeletal regions, including brain perfusion and vascular CTA studies
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Works every third weekend
- Participates in on-call rotation approximately once every 6 weeks
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
- ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
- Advanced ARRT certification preferred
- License required if applicable
- Siemens equipment and Epic charting experience required
- Experience preparing/administering contrast media and starting peripheral IVs
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Strong communication skills and ability to perform under pressure
Additional Information
- Perform CT scans while ensuring high-quality imaging, patient comfort, and safety
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Utilizes PACS and Siemens imaging equipment
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate
- RTO must be submitted with contract and limited to 7 days or less
- Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6+ months away from the facility
- Current employees are ineligible for travel assignments at this health system
- Requires prompt completion of Ohio fingerprinting process upon contract signing
