Position Summary: 
The Warehouse Control Supervisor is responsible for leading the Warehouse Control team and coordinating the daily execution of warehouse work through the Warehouse Management System (Blue Yonder). This position oversees the Warehouse Control Coordinators while partnering closely with Operations, Inventory Control, Shipping, Receiving, Transportation, and Support teams to ensure efficient warehouse flow, inventory availability, and on-time customer deliveries.
This position reports to the Warehouse Control Manager and serves as the primary point of coordination between warehouse execution and warehouse control functions.
Here are some of the tasks you will complete:
Supervise and develop the Warehouse Control Coordinator team.
Assign daily responsibilities and establish work priorities.
Oversee warehouse work release and execution through the Warehouse Management System.
Monitor warehouse workload and adjust operational priorities throughout the day.
Coordinate replenishment activities to maintain inventory availability.
Partner with Operations leadership to balance work across warehouse departments.
Ensure timely communication of operational priorities, inventory constraints, and system issues.
Monitor customer order completion and support on-time load departures.
Escalate operational risks and develop corrective action plans.
Review Warehouse Management System exceptions and ensure timely resolution.
Support inventory accuracy by partnering with Inventory Control on replenishment and inventory discrepancies.
Review daily warehouse performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve workflow and productivity.
Train, coach, and develop Warehouse Control Coordinators.
Assist with implementation of new warehouse processes and Warehouse Management System enhancements.
Promote a culture focused on safety, teamwork, customer service, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum Experience: Three years of warehouse, inventory control, logistics, or distribution center experience.
Preferred Experience: 
Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
Experience in a high-volume distribution center.
Experience using Blue Yonder or another Warehouse Management System.
Experience coordinating warehouse operations across multiple departments.
Experience in grocery, retail, wholesale, or consumer packaged goods distribution.
Preferred Licenses / Certifications and Skills
Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System experience preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Experience with warehouse reporting and operational metrics.

Other:

Scheduling: This is a full-time position supporting warehouse operations. Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require.
Hours & Conditions: Full-Time
Travel: Minimal (Less than 5%)
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout office and warehouse environments. Frequent walking within the distribution center. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and work in ambient, cooler, and freezer environments as operational needs require.
