Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Pay: $40.00/hour

Schedule: Tue–Fri, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM & Sat, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM OR Mon–Thu, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM & Sun, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (Training: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM for 2–3 weeks)

Ever wondered what it's actually like to work directly on autonomous vehicle technology and ADAS development? Here's your chance to be on the front lines. We're looking for a Vehicle Testing Specialist with hands-on AV experience to help prepare, test, and evaluate self-driving software and hardware in Sunnyvale.

You won't just be running tests. You'll be the crucial link between vehicle readiness and the engineering team, making sure autonomous systems perform safely, accurately, and reliably every single day. If you love cars, technical troubleshooting, and being part of something genuinely new, this is a rare seat to have.

What your day looks like:

• Prepare AV and ADAS development vehicles for testing and execute established test plans
• Assess vehicle hardware and software readiness, identifying issues that could affect performance
• Collaborate with software engineers and operations teams to improve testing procedures
• Provide detailed notes and formal reports of testing activities, outcomes, and technical findings
• Work alongside vehicle operators to conduct testing safely, professionally, and efficiently
• Serve as a safety champion for the entire vehicle testing program

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years of hardware/software testing, data entry, or similar technical experience
• Hands-on experience with ADAS, autonomous vehicles, or related automotive testing systems
• Solid working knowledge of AV hardware and software, including sensor systems like cameras and radar
• Proven ability to troubleshoot computers, vehicle systems, hardware, or software issues
• Methodical approach to preparing vehicles/systems for testing and assessing test readiness
• Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset focused on autonomy software performance

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with software development practices and Linux environments
• Experience using tools like Slack, Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace
• A deep technical curiosity for how autonomous vehicle systems function

The fine print: It is fully onsite in Sunnyvale, CA, so you'll need to be local to the area. Weekend shifts will eventually extend to 10:30 PM as testing scales.
