Machine Operator I – 3rd Shift

Location: San Diego, CA 92121
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3rd Shift

Pay: $23-$23.75

Duration: Temp to Perm

In this position, you will:

• Operate machinery according to Standard Work and safety procedures.

• Inspect products using precision measuring tools such as calipers, depth gages, thread gages, and pin gages.

• Ensure products meet drawing specifications and AQL quality standards.

• Participate in Lean manufacturing activities, including 5S, SQDCC, Hour-by-Hour Charts, and Lean Engagement.

• Identify and report equipment, material, or quality issues to the Team Leader/Supervisor.

• Perform basic operator maintenance and equipment checks.

• Sort and dispose of scrap and recyclable materials according to procedures.

• Frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs. and perform standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

You have:

• Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Up to 6 months of manufacturing experience.

• CNC machine operator experience is a plus.

• Ability to use basic precision measuring tools such as calipers and gages.

• Ability to work safely and follow quality procedures.

• Willingness to learn and work in a Lean manufacturing environment.

Important ITAR Requirement:
The San Diego facility is ITAR-controlled. Candidates must qualify as a “U.S. Person” under 22 C.F.R. § 120.15.
