Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead / Senior Rain Gutter Installer to execute residential and commercial projects throughout the Salt Lake valley. At this tier, you will act as a primary installer or crew lead—responsible for precise run layouts, operating seamless gutter machines on-site, and installing premium, weather-resistant water management systems designed for Utah’s heavy snow loads, ice damming, and seasonal runoff.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication & Assembly: Set up and operate 5", 6", K-style, box, and custom continuous seamless gutter machines on-site (aluminum, heavy-gauge steel, and copper).
• Advanced Installation: Precision-pitch gutter runs, downspouts, fascia boards, soffit, drip edges, and high-performance gutter guard systems across multi-story and steep-slope structures.
• Winterization Systems: Install heat cables/heat trace systems, snow guards, and de-icing equipment to mitigate Utah’s winter ice dam issues.
• Quality Assurance & Leadership: Perform roofline and fascia inspections to ensure structural integrity and correct pitch; lead crew members and ensure top-tier craftsmanship on every job.
• Safety Compliance: Rigorously enforce OSHA fall protection standards, ladder safety protocols, harness usage, and scaffolding safety.
• Customer & Site Management: Coordinate directly with homeowners, site managers, and general contractors to resolve site challenges professionally.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of direct, hands-on rain gutter installation experience (or extensive architectural sheet metal/roofing experience).
• Heights & Rigor: Fully comfortable on multi-story roofs, steep pitches, and extended ladders; able to lift 75+ lbs continuously in varying outdoor weather conditions.
• Equipment Proficiency: Mastery of gutter machines, miter cuts, hand tools, power tools, pop-riveters, and high-temp sealants.
• Licensing: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (capable of driving company trucks with trailers).
